Okay, another thing I need help with before I take Kevin to the vet encase there's something else I can do.

So, for the past few weeks my pig, Kevin has been making painful sounding noises while defecating and urinating. At first I thought he was just angry cause he wanted to go back into his cage but I've noticed its every time he's "doing his business". I'm feeding him right, veg 3 times a week and he always has hay in his cage and Wag in his bowl. Could it be bladder stones or something?

Pease help
Sean

Sorry to hear he is in pain, I cant really help with that as i have no experience with painful toileting.

But Veggies should be fed twice a day ideally, and muesli is full of rubbish, a pellet form of dry food would be better for him, its good he has unlimited access to hay and i assume fresh water.

He definitely needs to be seen by a vet, it could be a UTI, cystitis or Interstital cystitis, or even a stone. He ideally needs an xray or ultrasound to rule out stones.

Of course he had water, that's number 1. Yes, I will switch foods after the vet visit. Thank you.

Won't be able to take him down until next Thursday :( really worried about him. I'll keep youse posted.

Is there any blood present when he is weeing, or even pooing? A good test is a clean dry washing up bowl, pop him in it, feed him his favourite watery veg, and just wait for him to go, or even on a white towel, may even be better than washing up bowl.

No but there it has been red or orange before. It hasn't been like that since I stopped feeding him Tomatos. I heard they weren't good for them. But I'll give that a try

Tomato's are ok for them, just not as an everyday vegetable, they are very acidic when has been known to cause mouth sores.
