I'm on holiday at the moment and my Uncle is looking after all the animals as he is living in our house. My nan e-mailed me yesterday to say he'd put them all out in the run...including the two baby boys. All together in the same run :( He'd told me he wasn't gonna put them out as he works so much so he wouldn't have time. The young boys are only 10 weeks old but obviously that's old enough to reproduce, and some of my girls are older than 12-18 months so now I'm in an absolute panic.
I'm just sat here hoping, fingers crossed, that nobody was in season :( It's gonna be a horrible few weeks sitting waiting and hoping that nobody is pregnant :(

omg lets hope nothing has happened, isnt it dangerous if the females are older than a certain age if they havent been pregnant before or is that me getting mixed up as I havent got girls but I'm sure a friend of mine told me that one as she has 5 girls.

I wonder what possessed him to do that if he knew they were both male and female,

Oh dear! Hopefully it will all be fine. Nothing that can be done about it now, have fingers and paws crossed for you and your girls.

Yeah it can be dangerous as their hip bones can fuse. I have 5 girls of my own, one of which has been pregnant before, and there's also the boys mother and sister who I have waiting to be rehomed.
It's gonna be a crazy strict weighing regime as soon as I get home so I can pick up on anything changing asap.
I don't blame my uncle as he's done so well looking after them all as there's so much to remember, but I would have thought the fact that they are in a seperate hutch would make him think that they shouldn't go out together.

OOOOPS! hope everything goes ok and there are no "new additions"..... x

Really hope they are not for the safety of the girls, the hip fusing would seriously worry me.

My son put mine altogether a few weeks back and were on pregnancy watch as well but luckily my girls are 6 months old.
