Soooooo pleased with this weekend's bonding result with Jerry. After 2 false starts - two older piggies who were aggressive towards Jerry - Jerry chose a lovely 9 month old Guinea. He's had a tough time with his bully brothers and his ears show the scars but Jerry is kind and gentle so we are hoping he will be happy with us. We've not chosen a name yet but I will keep you posted. Here they are together at home today. Jerry is on the right in the photo

I like Gilbert - reminds me of Anne of Green Gables He has the scars and a v shaped face so at the minute I'm thinking Vinnie - he seems to really suit it. I had hoped for Monty but he's not a Monty

Went for Vinnie in the end - he just doesn't suit the other names I had picked out. He's been chirping and purring- he's far more vocal than Jerry and seems very happy at the minute bless him.

Exactly! I hadn't thought of Vinnie at all and then suddenly it just came to me. The boys are snuggled under a cardboard box at the moment - so sweet
