I ordered my girlies a new cage on Sunday evening with the knowledge I was going to try bonding them this week, well I thought my cage would have arrived on wednesday as the tracker number had said on Tuesday it was in the depot- but noooo :{
While at work my mum phoned and said they had tried to deliver today and will try to deliver again tomorrow when we're both out again
Looks like it's going to be next week now before they get their lush new pad, but they will love the extra space when we can get itx)

Cant you ask a friendly neighbour to take it in for you? Leave a note at the door or in a window asking them to leave it at their address?

Both sides have gone on holidays :( and to have it delivered to my OH's house two streets away would cost an extra £6, I'm going to pick it up on Monday from the depotmallethead

Delivery companies are SOOOO frustrating. Usually their depots are out the back of beyond and only open stupid hours, that is if they can find the parcel they say they tried to deliver.

I tend to get things delivered to my work now as at least there's someone usually there between 9 and 5. It's a pain when it's big stuff I can't get home on the bus. Sometimes companies won't deliver to an address other than the one where the card is registered, but they don't get my custom.

There's surely got to be a better way of doing deliveries. I'm sure I came across one website that would deliver to a local shop that was part of their "delivery network," and the nearest one to me was just round the corner and open more reasonable hours. Can't remember what the firm was (or why I didn't order whatever it was in the end.)

Sorry, just a bit of a rant. I feel your pain! :{

Thats why i call them ParcelFarce!

I had stuff ordered ages ago and left a note on the order "do not attempt delivery before 12, i will be at work" low and behold they tried to deliver 3 times at 11.30! Wouldnt mind but i saw a few of there vans about after i was back from work.

My piggie run came yesterday with Parcel Force, and I have to say I have no complaints.

The tracking shows you when it is on the van, so you can see which day it is coming. I was out yesterday afternoon, in town for eye tests so missed the delivery. No problem, I thought, they will automatically re-deliver on Monday.

Whilst in town, we saw the Parcel Force van and he recognised my hubby. He offered to come as arranged on Monday, or we could take it from him there and then, which we did.

Everyone has good and bad experiences with courier companies. I work for Shop Direct and deal with Yodel (formerly HDNL) complaints. When you gage the ratio of parcels delivered against the complaints we have, the % is very small.

Royal Mail are the worst in the world :o
I'm sooo sick and tired of having to go and collect stuff from the sorting office - today another fine example.
Left for work yesterday morning at 10.30am, no mail. This morning amongst the letters, a card saying a parcel was attempted to be delivered yesterday at 9.30am mallethead grrrr
OH has just gone to collect it as it's the new vetbed for the piggies so priority :(|)
My sons girlfriend asked if she could have a parcel delivered here last week, caught the postie with a card blah blah, needed signing for and he had the bloody parcel under his arm mallethead ?/

I've never had any issues with Parcelforce - perhaps I'm just lucky. I do hope you get your cage soon! x

We had a parcel left recently with a different couriers and they left the parcel in our (full) bin! Good job it wasn't collection day! Good thinking to leave it somewhere but fishing it out was not pleasant!
