So, Ella has started eating herbs 😊 I’m going food shopping tomorrow and am going to stock up. She likes coriander which I know she can have daily but do I get parsley or dill? At the moment, I’m just pleased she’s eating little bits but I’m also aware that parsley and dill contain a lot of calcium and I also have Elizabeth and Esme to think about. She doesn’t like mint or basil but what herbs are best?

I think Dill is higher in calcium than parsley but both are high, if you are only giving a small bit I wouldn't worry too much, it's better at the moment you get her to eat something. If it were me I would buy a parsley plant and put it on the kitchen window sill. It will keep longer than a packet and you can pick off a stem or 2 at a time and not feel you have to give all 3 girls lots to use it up.

Thank you. I’ll get a parsley plant

I agree with parsley being a good choice, and what we often do is pick off most of the leaves to use in our own cooking, and feed just the stalks to the animals for a tasty low calcium alternative
