Pellets overall best

Hey I’ve been looking at the pellet nutrition chart very handy I’m just wondering overall which pellets are the absolute best? Is it highly recommended to have grain free low calcium pellets? I was worried if I got low calcium they won’t get enough calcium but they get bell pepper everyday along with some other veggies…

Hiya, hay is their main diet for good health and good for teeth, nuggets arnt as important, mine like the burgess blackcurrant, but I only give 1 tablespoon per pig per day, they have pig piles of hay, fresh water and veggies, hope this helps

There is no such thing as very best really as they are not a main part of the diet. All pellets need to be kept limited to one tablespoon no matter what brand you give. I personally feed Haybox pellets as they are cold pressed and made just with grasses and don’t contain the fillers of commercial pellets.
Low calcium is recommended because most calcium comes into the diet via pellets and water (ensure you filter their drinking water) but as long as you keep it all about balance and moderation then any pellet is ok.
