People in Cleveland - piggy vets

know any good piggy vets?

I live in Saltburn, and my parents wouldnt travel further than middlesbrough/guisbrough/loftus.

Know any good ones? Ive never had to take them to the vets, apart from once to get their claws clipped and a health check. They were useless with my rabbits, so wouldnt trust them with my piggys either.

Ive now changed vet who are great for bunsters, but i dont think they see many g.pigs. There arent any exotics vets around here either i dont think, ive done a search on RCVS.

Hello I’m from the boro! I take my boys to my local vets rosslyn, on the avenue http://www.cvsukltd.co.uk/rosslyn.htm they have a small animals vet, he was really helpful when artie had a URI and eye infections. The consultation was £20, and baytril and eye drops came to £25. Although it was picey I was really happy with the vet and his advice.

But i’ve also heard that this exotic vet centre, in Stockton-on-tees is really good, never been to them myself (I would like to try them out in future which i plan to do now i have a car!), and they are specialists in exotic pets!

i am from boro too, I took my last piggie to Bridge Vet Group Victoria Rd Middlesbrough (near Newport Bridge) Tel 242338 and there were really good with him and seem to know what there were talking about regarding Piggies. We only went there as we took my dog there for years before that.

Ahh their a CVS group...i had a really bad time with one of their practices. I'm sure their all different and it comes down to individual vets/members of staff but i dont plan on using them again.

Yeah i know where that is :) I think one of my friends from RU (the sister site) use them too. Anymore reccomendations? My parents would still have a problem going to middlesbrough. I need to pass my flippin' driving test!
 
Another one, my aunty uses for her dog and rabbit and I can't personally guarentee them as i have never used them but she says they are brilliant with their pets are The Animal Health Centre, 2 Redcar Road Guisborough, TS14 6DB Tel 01287 633255. I know thats not Saltburn but is it any closer for you than Middlesbrough?
