I keep mentioning these gloves for when you're nail clipping less than co operative piggles who'd like to take a chunk out of your hand and have now finally got around to finding an image/link ( today's nail clipping session reminded me). I got mine from my local garden centre, I should imagine most garden centres stock them. They're tough enough to protect your fingers but flexible enough to be able to hold your piggie gently. I found all others that I've tried to be too thin ( ouch! ) or too inflexible( hopeless if you can't bend your fingers properly). Hope this is a help.

Ta for the link, I'll keep it in mind but I think what I really need is chainmail gauntlets when it comes to doing anything other than stroking Tango...

Thanks, Dottie is getting more and more feisty with nail clipping - but only the front ones! rolleyes She never used to mind!

It's always the front ones isn't it? Why can't they have three toes at the front and four at the back instead of the other way round?! @) I'm usually getting along fine until the last two front nails, that's when complete rebellion and refusal to co operate kick in and the gloves go on! :...

:)) it really is, and they are the most tricky ones! Especially when they bend and are no longer straight! Fin and Mabel are little stars though, it's so funny because Dottie is my most friendliest pig and will do anything for chin rubs and strokes and yet she misbehaves the most during nail clipping time and is quick to let me know when enough is enough through the use of her teeth! Mabel and Fin would never dare do such a thing!

Mine like to keep me on my toes and be unpredictable, I think they take it in turns! :(|)
