Pesticides And Guinea Pigs

Hello again,
So I found out that a week before I moved in my landlord sprayed my Townhouse with a very strong pesticide to get rid of the bug issue (I had spiders, roaches, and other house bugs prior to moving in). He had an exterminator spray the entire perimeter of both floors and my garage. I think this may harm any guinea pigs I adopt... thoughts?

It depends on the product and how long the chemicals persist. As long as there are no fumes and your guinea pigs do not come into direct contact, they will hopefully be fine. If necessary, talk to the rescue.

Hello so my mother got some lettuce for my guinea pig and I didn't really know lettuce had pesticides on them... I fed him a leaf of it and I'm afraid it might hurt him... The lettuce my mother bought is roman lettuce.

Hi!

Please always wash your veg before you feed it. Romaine lettuce is not nutritious enough to be the only vegetable to feed guinea pigs in addition to unlimited hay, which should make over 80% of what a guinea pig eats in a day.
