Pet shop bandwagon.

Popped into a new petshop that has opened up in my town - originally they didn't sell pets, but now because of the established pet shop in town who DOES sell pets they needed to jump on the band wagon of course malletheadmalletheadmalletheadmallethead

Anyways they have these two piggies for sale, one boy & one girl both in seperate cages BUT each with a HUGE rabbit mallethead

They both look so sad and the cage is only weenie as well. grrrrgrrrr

ugh. go up to the owner of the store and ask him why he is deliberately putting his guinea pigs in danger. if he denies it, kindly (but confidently) explain to him the very real dangers of their cohabitation. good luck. xx

I had a word with the lady - she seemed a bit batty!

I simply said 'A guinea pig and a rabbit should not be living together, especially in those cramped conditions.'

She turned around and said 'Is this your shop? Are you selling them?' and pretty much cackled...rolleyes

To which I replied 'They aren't happy and you'll never sell any of the animals if ANYONE in their right mind can see how sad and upset they are.'

I just wish I had more space for them at home.

It's crap isn't it There's a pet shop near me that does the same, and to be honest I don't think I have seen a healthy looking animal in the shop Their eyes and fur are so dull.
At least you tried to help them, it's a pity Cruella wouldn't listen xox
