COVID-19 Pets at home card only

Pets at home are only taking card payments atm. Which is gunna be annoying because I lifted my money out of the cash machine

I can see a lot of places going the same way as it's safer than handling cash

I think it's hard for companies isn't it. Not safe to assume that everyone has the ability to pay by card. These days people on benefits are having to have bank accounts to receive the money but not everyone is on to the new benefits system yet and there are still people that don't trust cards. Not just older people but those that have been the victims of fraud previously etc. My mum's old neighbour always pays cash or cheque still

Here we have technically been card only for a couple of weeks, however the elderly woman in front of me at the pharmacy was allowed to pay with cash when she explained she didn't have a working card right now. I think there is some flexibility involved when needed.

I noticed that in pets at home too
