Pets at home Guinea Pig Nuggets

Hi all

Just a quick question. I bought our guinea pigs on sunday from pets at home. they advised me that was the food they were on. Can it be changed?

It can however you need to do it gradually mixing the two foods rather than making a complete switch straight away. Also consider that if you are going to use a variety one that the pigs will only choose the bits they like which leads to a unbalanced diet O0
 
Thanks for that. I am looking for tips as these are my first guine pigs :)
 
hi ,i also brought my pigs from pets at home and they said to feed them nuggets ,and i feed mine nuggets all the time and when there outside i let them have some of that mixed stuff(sorry cant rememmber name of it),hope this helps
 
hi, nuggets are better than museli as they get a fully balanced diet with them, where with the museli, they pick out their favourite bits, i use p@h nuggets but give a handful of museli once or twice a week as a treat, which they enjoy.
