My boys are on Pets At Home nuggets As thats what they were eating when i purchased them from there. Also the shop assistant told me to buy them as not to upset their tummy, and to stop 'Selective feeding'.
But they dont seem to be eating them. I have only had them 4 days.
So do you think they will come around, Or is this food rubbish and its a hint to buy another one :(|)

They are probably still 'settling' into their new surroundings - a lot of piggies don't eat the amount we believe they should until they become a bit more confident.
You can continue to give them their regular P@H nuggets but introduce another brand gradually - Wagg (now Harringtons) Optimum are our piggies fave pellets and 18 of the little divas can't be wrong ;) I just popped a dish of each into their pens, reduced the old brand until phased out.
There are many to choose from and certain you will find what they like.
This is an excellent site to buy from:

I agree with Gps....after they have settled and feel more confident you will probably get to know the REAL appetite of your piggies :))

Mine are on P@H nuggets at the moment...but I am trying to convert them to Burgess Excel, but they seem to be prefering the P@H ones mallethead

I have noticed the bowl has gone down a bit. I reckon your right once they've settled in they will eat more. I think their eating it at night. But they have unlimited hay and Have a chunk of cucumber in the morning so not majorly worried yet.

I would start to wean them onto Burgees Excel Nuggets or Oxbow Cavy Performance (Cavy Cuisine when they get older). Those two brands are the leading brands for Guinea Pig food. Oxbow tends to be better but Excel is a lot cheaper. But whatever you do don't give them Mixed Foods as they will start to pick out all the sugary, artificial bits which is selective feeding as the person in Pets At Home told you.

Ive heard of burgess and can get in Pets At Home near where i live. Never heard of the other one. I still have a 4KG bag to go through as it was on special offer when i got my pigs. While give it a few weeks and see how well their eating it. And then will shop around or ask on here what the best food is for them. :)

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, Oxbow is hardly ever available in pet stores in the UK as it's American so you may have to order online which is what I do. If you go onto the food section you can read reviews on both products and decide which one is the best for you. :)
