before i went to the vet s today i went to a petting zoo i was so angry at how they kept their gps there were some in these pen things with dirty water dryed bread and NO enrichment apart from a handful of straw and they had no hay also these were breeder pigs there was also 3 in door pig pens with 1: 2 pigs 3 large rabbits 2: 2 pigs 3: 2 pigs they all had food and water and some hay but the cages were small and badly biult there was a out door pen with about 7 pigs in no hay insted they had wood chips some piggies had eye injuries about 4 sows looked pregnant and there was a small baby there were many boars mixed. they all i am hoping to buy the smallest one i know its supporting the vile people who think they can treat animals like that but i want to give at least one pig a good home he/she was the only one for sale because they're a baby its horrible how animals are treated like this !
 
that is horrible! I would be the same wanting to get the little piggie out of there but they will just have more! I wouldn't blame you for going back and getting it as I might too! I just can't go to these places as I hate seeing it and would end up buying them and then they have more babies and it is a terrible circle!
 
It makes you so angry, because you feel so helpless - you just can't stop them and neither can you save all the pigs...

I feel the same, and I have stopped going to those places. I only end up upset and having several sleepless nights.
 
me too ,i will try my best to get the small pig to give one a good home ,not sure if its a boy or a girl yet so will have to think about housing and companionship
