So we collected Jasmine yesterday from Bramley Cavies (apparantly she was originally at Milhaven) she is absolutly stunning and already quite a character. Megs is really pleased and already had a few sneaky cuddles with her and spoiling her rotton

so here is Jasmine

AWW - Jasmine is going to be sooo spoilt! What a lovely pic of your daughter with her new friend! I am sure that Jasmine will settle in with so much company and fuss just for her!
 
Just curious....but those 2 tier homes (dont like to call it a cage) are they big enough for 2 and do the piggies actually use the ladder.

Just asking in case I decide to get some more ?/

Personally i would not buy this cage for the 2 guinea pigs. Jasmine is a lone pig and due to the space limitation in Megs room we decided that this 2 storey cage would be the best option for Jasmine, as she will be out of the cage on a regular basis and also have lots of time outside in the run. The ladder does look steep and as of yet Jasmine has not used it ( we only got her yesterday) I am planning on getting a ramp tunnel for the ladder as soon as Cavie Cosies finish their summer break. However i have had many hutches over the years that have had ramps and have always succeeded in training the pigs to run up them. Meg has already started to put vegetables on the ramp to get Jasmine used to the idea and to start climbing the ramp and gaining her confidence.

I suspect another very spoiled piggy :x that we'll be seeing a lot more of on here :(|)
 
Thanks JoBo....I just dont have a lot of space for a big piggie den and that one looks ideal. But if you say its not big enough for 2 then thats good enough advice for me :):)

its hard to see how big they are from a photo x

My name is Cookie, when I saw your face I thought someone may have pignapped me and had there picture taken with me, but my slave as assured me that wasn't the case and said that there was another piggie who looks just as gorgeous as I do...

I had the same cage for my two girls. It is a decent amount of space if you don't have much space but there wasn't much space for cosies and such for 2. A custom C and C made as big as the space will allow is better. My girls used the ladder once I covered it with a carpet tile cut to fit.

As you may be able to see the two log hides take up most of the space on the bottom floor.

Oohh Wow Cookie really does look like Jasmine, thats amazing and they are both so beautiful, dont worry though you will get plenty of updates and photos of Jasmine and Megs through me, maybe Jasmine and Cookie should become penfriends lol xx

Well thismorning i went into Megs room as she was having a lie in and found this:
