Hello everybody! Hope you're all fine. I came for help once again haha.
My girls are already in the stage that they have to stop eating alfalfa, so we changed their diet to a hay made mostly of ray-grass and a little of fescue, the problem is they don't like it as much and haven't been eating as often. Is there anything we can do to improve their appetite or they'll get used with time? Thanks!

All I can suggest is that you perhaps need to buy different brands or types of hay until you find one that they will eat.

If I am understanding correctly, they have been fed purely on alfalfa until now? alfalfa is not a grass hay and even babies should be fed on grass hay and only given one small handful of alfalfa once a day to supplement a grass hay diet. Alfalfa should never be the main hay offered even for babies and pregnant sows.

If I have the correct member, I think they couldn't find Timothy hay or any othe hay in their country to feed.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it was actually me or is it a coincidence but it is true that in my country around the months of July to November it is almost impossible to find anything but alfalfa :( and timothy hay is not sold here at all as far as I know, just imported products derivated from it like pellets or little cubes.
