Piggie toe nails

I cut Sir David and Columbo's nails yesterday for the first time. I was soooo nervous. Columbo was laid back and didn't bother but Sir David squeaked and moaned the whole time. Luckily you can see the quick clearly through their nails so I knew I wasn't anywhere near it but Sir David made me feel really guilty. I gave them some parsley afterwards so I think they have forgiven me.

I don't think it does... I did my lot yesterday and was almost in tears. I hate that they feel I'm hurting them! I cut into the quick with Bo too....

Well done. I did Flumpet and Delilah for the first time this week. Delilah was fine although a bit miffed with me. Flumpet was her usual mardy self and this was made worse because (even though I only cut the very tips) 2 of the nails had a dot of blood. It took a lot of parsley for her to decide I wasn't a total big nasty.
