Junior Guinea Pig
I've got 2 boars, Frodo who's 8 months old and I've had him for 5 months and Dexter who's 4 months and I've had him for 2. They both get on really well and have done from the start although they both have had bad experiences before they came to me. Frodos previous owner put him up for adoption because he didn't get on with the other pigs and has a scar over 1 of his eyes and Dexter has chunks taken out of both of his ears. Neither are particularly fond of being held but will tolerate short cuddle times (like a couple minutes) which doesn't worry me at all. Dexter is getting better. He's a long haired pig so unfortunately he has to put up with extra handling during grooming sessions. during his last groom he was particularly good although he did the piggy version of moaning the whole time
anyway I just wanted to say that Frodo is so affectionate when he's not being picked up and I wish I had some videos to show u all but whenever I start to video my boys they think that means sit still and do nothing!
He's so sweet and loves his back being tickled. 1st the front feet stretch out then the back legs start heading out in all directions and he then throws (literally throws) his head to the floor on its side and he'll lie there forever. Twice now he's rolled onto his back and wiggled his legs in the air. Is this normal? It only lasts about 5 seconds but it's so cute! Dexter was cleaning himself earlier when he was on my bed and I so wish I had that on video in slow motion. His long hair on his head made him look like 1 of the ladies from a l'oreal shampoo advert!
