My piggies have got a big cage and floor time twice a day.
Somedays there is a fair amount of action during floor time: zoomies, investigating every corner of the room, gnawing on cardboard boxes and wicker tunnel etc.
But most of the times it's snoozing under my sofa. Should be called floor napping time really. ;)

The real excercise action is going on ...
around feeding times.
There is a lot of running around at high speed while wheeking, standing on the hind legs (Tessy and Vicky) or climbing up on the grids (Bonny, Billie and Odi), jumping over each other (Bonny), taking a piece of veggy and running around with it to find the perfect place to eat it, sometimes loosing the piece of veggy and running back to me to claim a different piece, sometimes running around frantically trying to find it again. You can also see a game of tug of war about who has got the best piece.

And after this exhausting exercise time it's back to snoozing. :D

Pigs are so funny aren’t they! Mine are the same, floor time can be full of fun and popcorns. Chatting to the other pigs through the bars. Or they hardly come out and decide to just stay in their house and nap in the hay tray.
And yes dinner time is the most active time, same as yours, running around in mad circles, jumping over each other. Meerkatting around or at the bars, running off with food etc. and then yep.. nap time!
Predictable little things aren’t they :))
