We got a favourite food thread, throught we'd have a hate thread too! ;)

Icey and Tiny will not touch cauliflower and swede, herbs, cress and watercress

All other 6 girls will eat anything but herbs and the 2 cress

Titch and JoJo will not eat herbs or 2 cress, but LOVE swede! ::)

Uncle Ton and Guin do not like watercress (will eat salad cress), swede or herbs

Cuddles and Squeaky - still working on food with them two. They seemed to only live off cabbage :( But are loving all veggies and fruit at the moment :)
 
will holly and meggie anit too keen on apple or pear will its not there fav food but there do eat some of it and some days there eat the whole lot of it

lilly and molly - I'm not sure if there like apple pear braccli or cucmber or not as when i first got them there wouldnt eat it but when the babies came i start giving it them and i know the babies like it and eat but not sure about lilly and molly (well someone eats it anyways as it all gose when i give i them)

the babies are doing so well with eating there love cabbage watercress rocket spainch carrot cucmber apple pear braccoli I'm still trying to get them to eat cery and tomateo there wont touch the tometo yet but last time i put celery in there had a little bit of it but they only 2 and half weeks old s there are doing there well
 
None of our boys like kiwi fruit
 
Tia and Tilly are not keen on spring greens. They give them a bit of a nibble when they realise that is all they have left!

Angela and Trixie so far will eat ANYTHING ;D
 
swede, red pepper and grapes are the devils food according to my pigs. They run a mile from just a sniff, watching them scoot backwards away from it cracks me up.
 
Merlin hates rocket.

If i open a bag of mixed salad he will eat everything apart from the rocket.

Its odd becuase Billie used to yaff rocket like his life depended on it. I guess they are just like people with their preferences for things
 
Ours don't seem to like parsnips very much, they nibbled it a little bit and they wouldn't touch broccoli
 
Mine have never eaten pepper - but yet to try out the Swampies on it. I've never given mine parsnip or sweet potato type food as I just doesn't sound right raw!
Anyone here give their pigs sweet potato? - I eat heaps of it so always have a supply in.
I tried them on tomato a couple of times but they weren't keen I never persevered as I am fussy with toms. They have to be vine ripe & sun warm- if it aint that forget it! Thats why I only eat the ones I grow ::)
 
My guinea pigs don't seem to like strawberrys (they like the leaves), nor do they like cabbage much, mine actually don't eat swede alot, they don't seem to like banana skins... there's quite alot.
 
Mine aren't too keen on cabbage either, they will eat it occassionally but they'd rather not ;) Only fruit I've ever given them is apple too, we never have fruit ourselves so forget to buy it for them. Never tried sweet potato/parsnip/turnip either but maybe I will some day :P

Parsnips & sweetcorn aren't touched at all. Huxley won't touch carrots, green beans or broccoli but loves tomato. Wilbur, Albie & Maddie eat everything, Lottie's not keen on spring greens & Hamish won't touch beetroot
 
Mine seem to really enjoy something at first then turn their noses up after a couple of weeks - though i do vary it! Pudding doesn't like watercress or rocket, yet he will keep attempting to put it in his mouth when he sees Pie munching on it, but then spits it back out! I've tried them with sweet potato and butternut squash and they give it a nibble occasionally but don't seem fussed. They won't eat courgette or tomatoes and basically anything that they used to like but now got bored of, frustrating piggies ?
 
Mine doesnt like red pepper but will eat green pepper 98), he like tomatos, blueberries, spring greens, banana, cucumber, melon, cabbage and carrots. :)
