Who on the forum shares their bedroom with piggies?! Honest to God! I have all four of mine in with me this week until Boxing day. Last night was night one. Blimey. Garry and Minty aren't a problem. It's dancing Dave and baby elephant Ben that are! Garry and Minty spent their first ever night here with me in my room and they were moved out straight after...I should've learned!

How do you cope with the noise?! I'm glad it's only a week...six nights to go!zzz@)

Haha Emma I had to sleep down stairs last Jan as had a terrible sinus infection but I had the pigs in then and they were so noisy. When I had Tika in she was purring like a bloomin' cat and I could hear her upstairs! I love my animals but I do need my sleep! :D

Me too! Managed 5 hours off and on last night. Think I'll be reaching for the sleeping pills tonight...I've got some somewhere!

I woke up at one point and peered over - Minty and Garry are next to me and Minty was out having some food. All I could hear from Ben and Dave was squeaking and running and very (I'm sure they're doing it on purpose) loud chewing of the chube...

Ben and Dave are the picture of innocence this morning! Terrors!

My piggies, and my foster, all live in my bedroom with me! Thats a total of six piggies, with mini's on the way.. T___T Also looking after my friends bunny - Luckily I have a huge wardrobe and everything of mine fits in there. The pigs stuff take up the rest of the room!

I struggle to get to sleep without the nosie! I generally find big handfuls of fresh hay just before you crawl into bed helps keep them quiet while you drift off....Tee hee.

not only are my 2 piggies in my room but so is the rabbit! :o
over winter they live in my room (only had the rabbit afew months tho)
the piggies use to be really noisy, purring chasing each other ect rolleyes..plus the water bottle was annoying.
However this year they barely make a nosie at all which is brilliant. every now and then i hear them, but other then that they are pretty well behaved. BUT in the morning if they decide its breakfast time, Maisy wheeeeeeeeks and wheeeeeeeeeeeks and wheeeeeeeeeeks some more, then Mandy joins in..then the rabbit starts tearing up her newspaper and moves her litter box around, until i get up grrrr
haha so, they good in the night, But in the morning there a bit annoying. But i love them to much so, oh well :)) xx

My pigs have always been in my room, bar a couple of months a few years back. I've never had any problems with noise! I'm an average sleeper, even when I sleep lightly they don't interrupt.

The only time they have disturbed me is on a handful of occasions when someone chirps, usually between 3-5am, or if one of the girls is in heat and is being pestered.

lol! mine are in my lounge, which is right next to the bedroom. i leave the doors open so i can hear them as i'm nosey and want to hear what they're up to. andy sleeps through it all! pheobe, bless her, used to cry all night for some attention when she was tiny as ruby used to ignore her,so i ended up sleeping in the lounge with her on my lap! good job I'm a light sleeper! she doesnt do it anymore as shes always got someone to play with now. they do tend to start by 8am, which is the loveliest alarm clock ever in my opinion!

Beauty lives in my bedroom, as did Pepper when he was still with us. I have had up to six hamsters and two guinea pigs in here at once :) At the moment it's four hamsters and one guinea pig - it's fine! They don't keep me awake at all :D

I used to have them in my bedroom in my old place, when they were young. to be honest the noise didnt bother me and usually slept though it! it was just them drinking water at 6am which used to wake me which was a good alarm clock!

I'm not too bad. Like moonie8404 its the drinking from their bottle that wakes me up. And when their going through an arguing stage they keep me up with their chattering and jumping about. I love them being in with me though, i dont think i could have it any other way :)

I've got 5 piggies, rabbit and sometimes a dog sleeping in my room. Piggies are no problem at night apart from when they are babies and wheek alot or when boys hear the girls during the night. Miffy who is a rabbit is alot worse than the piggies even though he doesn't squeak or anything he rattles the cage and throws his toilet about for attention at 3am each morning. I'd hate not having them in my room though I like the sound of hearing them walking about, eating ect.

all my 14 piggies live in our bedroom and the chinchilla and he makes a right old noise - our piggies seem to eat and play through the night too, then sleep through the day! We have got used to the noise now.

Mine live in the living room so sleeping is not a problem.

They do talk to the telly sometimes though which can be a little irrating . I turn the volume up to be able to hear the TV and they just wheek louder rolleyes :))

My 2 dogs sleep in the bed room though, and I frequently have to fight for bed space. :))

yeah mine are in our bedroom atm. only for winter cause we dont have heat on anywhere else. but i love the noise, i sleep threw it for the most part. i love wakeing up to them and falling asleep staring at them =]

mine are in my bedroom and have been since day 1 but I'm lucky cos when i turn my lights off and get in bed my pigs take that as bed time and they also go and get in bed and stay there most of the nite apart from getting up for a wee or a snack!

oh but they wake me up at 7 every morning for their breckfast! lol

yeah now that they have a huge house to play in. they keep us up all night and i want nothing more than to put them out in the living room but i cant.
=[

they have gotten better though...just a little..

Chestnut & Angel live in my bedroom too.
When i first go up to bed i will turn the lamp on & turn the big light off, check my mail then i make sure they have food, water & hay, then i give both a cuddle and tell them its bedtime.
I then get in to bed and turn the lamp off.
Chestnut has only woke me twice and that was because he wanted a cuddle then he went back to sleep.
He amazed me really as i've never known a piggy like him before.
So i go to bed with 2 piggies, 1 oh & half a dozen cats.
Once the light is out Chestnut & Angel both go asleep, which is lovely, shame the oh dont have a cage of his own, i might get the covers and a bit more of the bed :))
