Every piggy got out onto the grass today, all eleven. First was the quartet, but Francesca Fuzzbutt didn't like the outdoors and considered, then went back upstairs...

Here are the others on the grass at the time...

So she came down again and paused for a while, thinking....

And then she went up again! She did finally join them, but it took about ten minutes before she felt confident enough.

Nico the shy boar started chomping the green stuff immediately today. He's learnt. Charlotte was still trying to grab grass while being lifted out - they only got 20 mins as they are not used to that much grass.

Francesca got a proper bottom wash in warm water in the sink as she was in a state. Here is the sparkling clean version afterwards. She did enjoy being cuddled in the towel, really relaxing into me and even some chuckling.

Nico was wiped all along his tummy as he had spent a second night hiding in shadows under the ramp. Yuk.

My own piggies have made the most of the changed situation. Here is Lily who crammed herself between the quartet's c&c and the glass of the sliding door to reach their hay tray...

Here she is backing out because I'd seen her...

And, finally, here is what I can see from sitting at the computer when their top fleeces are folded half back. Can you spot any guinea pigs?

Hope you're having a lovely time Rachel. Everyone is well and they were wheeking for veg by 4.15! I think they are enjoying their hols so far at least.

Thank you. Rachel is supposed to be able to get online from the cruise ship and see the reports on the forum - these reports will hopefully stop her worrying and missing her piggies so much. But I'm not sure if she's able to as she hasn't commented. At least it will make a fab memory of her piggies holidays!

Am on now :) They are so cute. Can't believe they have got so grotty though, mucky little devils. Any of them would be good for chuckle bunnies pigtures. Nico is very photogenic and just sits there with his big pouty lips ^) until he gets worried and then at least you get a nice bum shot. If you use two they are more likely to stay looking at you.
Internet is very expensive here and i have spent today feeling slightly icky in the rather rough North Sea. Fjords tomorrow :) Thanks for looking after them they are clearly enjoying themselves.

Hope you're having a good time Rachel. Sarah is doing a great job looking after your piggies.

Abby bottoms x) x) Love their chicken bums! drool
