Sarah from Chucklebunnies
Adult Guinea Pig
A quiet day at the holiday camp today. Lots of nasty rain meant no outside time, so the piggies had to find consolation in fresh hay...
And here is a picture of Kizzy putting her feet together so neatly. She moves really lightly on her feet too, a little dancing piggy.
Lily approves of the overflowing hay trays - she doesn't need to squeeze down anywhere to get to this one!
When my lot received their afternoon weeds (vine, strawberry leaves and marjoram) the visitors complained,
then complained some more...(even Nico came out of hiding to complain)
then really complained!
So they got a corn cob each, just to have a go at the husks and outer leaves. It all makes for a more interesting day!
I have found out that Nico finds it hard to get into the taller hay tray, the big grey one, so I have put up a towel across the end of the smaller blue one and he is now to be seen in there a fair bit. Slightly cleaner overall....he may not need another wash....we'll see. I have also seen him rumble strutting to Kizzy earlier so he must be feeling happier overall.
I'm not sure about the willow balls and I nearly took them out earlier. They are only being used by hitting them out of the way, into other piggies sometimes, or being put aside into the water tray or food tray. I can see no evidence of chewing on them. What do you think I should do? I wonder how other piggies use theirs? They all like the tunnels though.
Nico is the only piggy I haven't seen up in the top bits at some point. So they are being used. Not a lot of sun to relax in today though.
Enjoy the cocktails. Will you get time to try them all?
