I was just wondering how long it take for a new set of bottom teeth to come though. As my Maisey has lost, don't know how , her bottom 2 teeth.
Thanks everyone.

They grow quite fast but i think teeth missing are due to calcium deficiency or not much vitamins :-\
One of my boars top ones are short and it looks as though hes just had them trimmed ;D

Is she still managing to pick up food with no bottom teeth? You may need to put the food/hay into her mouth so that she can eat. Hopefully someone more experienced can help :)

It is calcium in humans but my vet said it is Vit C in guinea pigs... but when Honkey had is tooth cut it only took 2 weeks to grow back to normal length.
I would take to the vets or post a picture and may one of the more experiance people like MaryH could tell you.
My vet only charge £9.91 for sorting out Honkeys teeth.

Thank you everyone.
Poor Maisey has a big health problem. Have been to see two vets about this and niether can tell me what is wrong with her, one thinks it could be diabetes's which they said they do not know how to treat and the other vet thought she might have internal problems. She is very very small not much bigger then a hamster but she is very lively and eager for her food at feeding times. She has been this way for about 8 to 10 mouths now so a long time. She is still managing her food ( with no bottom teeth) as I am shedding it and also syringe feeds.Just can not put weight on her how ever many times I feed her.She is such a sweet little thing. I don't now how she is still with me.But she keeps going I just wished I could make her better.
