Piggle hates nail trims!

Piggle would just like to share that she hates nail trims, especially the front ones!
Mummy and Daddy hate Piggle nail trims too, she bites really hard and squirms about like an angry furry snakepig and jerks just as I'm about to snip, and she has freaky front feet with dark pads and 2 dark toes on her right foot and the outer nail curls in at a horrible angle...
All done in 2 minutes with no bloodshed and a watermelon reward but Mummy needs a glass of wine now to calm her nerves!

My piggies had to get lotion for a short time and they would scream like the worst pain was being inflicted upon them when in reality all my husband was doing was holding them so they couldn't move I was genuinely worried one of my neighbors would think we were doing something horrible to them because it sounded so horrible and it was so loud. Haven't had to trim their nails yet, hopefully that goes better

I think you’ll need a large glass of vino after that! Nail trimming with Kiki is almost impossible. Not really managed a full foot yet, she knows straight away what’s coming and she’s off

RB Piggy Dennis was so easy at nail trim time. All I had to do was lay him on his back (not good I know but he didn't mind as it was only for a short time) on my lap and trim them. It was quick and easy! Betsy on the other hand can be very free with her teeth and her nails bend at awkward angles too. I only have help when Son No 3 is home as my OH doesn't like the thought of being bitten.

On the last but one trim, Pink, who had recently become hubby's best bud, bit him in protest. Hair Salon and Nail Bar will be open at ours the weekend after this. Better make sure I've stocked up on wine .

I even did the black nail couple later, with only 1 bleeding toe! Tallulah naked hippo has a hilarious form of protest where she poops continually and deliberately on Daddy whenever she gets picked up and sees nail clippers (or eye drops). 2 minutes, 14 nails, 26 champion poops on Daddy's trousers, which by that point were covered in his own human blood from the Piggle and Puggle bites, bits of manky nail, fur, hay, Ollie's blood, parsley...

Poopy Patsy would win in any pooping competition! I have never known a piggy poop so much. Even the vet commented on how many poops she did!
