piggy dating services

I just wondered how exactly it all works (I'm not after more pigs at the moment :o I couldn't cope with more just now).

Its just I suppose mine have only done the "internet" dating thing on here and guinea pig rehome and I kind of have an image of a guinea pig wandering up and down a row of cages shaking its little head and then walking up to a cage and sort of squeaking "bingo".

So just wondered if a rescue could be so kind as to provide a bit of information as to what takes part in a dating session so that imaginative and creative weirdo's like me can picture something a tad more accurate :(|)
 
My lonely Boar is due to go on his travels in the next few weeks,accross to Leicester to choose his new baby :) I can not wait,but will miss him very much as he will be left there for a week.As I have a Boar who is around 12-13 months,he will probably be more suited with a baby Boar(as I wont have him Neutered or he could have a wifey),George will have the choice of 3 baby piggles that Claire has at her Rescue.As far as I know,George will be tried with each of them to see who he takes to,I am not entirely clued up on it much myself but yeah it's basicaly they are put with others and they "choose" who their new friend will be :)
 
I actually wondered if it was as simple as that... kind of a shame really... could you imagine him running up to a change going "Bingo... come to daddy" :))
 
Lol when my boar Harvey went dating service I put him in a cage he'd never been in and placed Loki into it too. Loki ran straight to Harvey and he started giving him cuddles and kisses. They love each other loads
x
 
I am realy looking forward to George coming home with his baby(Hope he is successful anyway!),even now he is currently sat by the front of his hutch making the most beautifull sounds....I'm going to record him hehe. **Runs off to get George out for cuddles**

Thank you Suzy that thread is very in depth and very enlightening about the dating service, have read some of it but time to leave work so will catch up on some more later

I'd love to see them dating, must be so cute to witness (unless you have a gigalo boar or a flighty sow and they wanted more than one partner ;))
All of my piggies have a little cuddly toy who they must think are their huspigs/wifey's and the girls have often had a tug of war over Freddie, the stuffed fish (a firm favourite) so had to buy them all one each :x

Your piggies would want to be paired with a fish! :)) Your lot are sooooo cute x) Where did I put my jacket with lots of big pockets rolleyes
