Piggy fell

Probably just paranoid !
had my piggy out for play time, and he got really anxious so I went to put him in his cage (he often gets anxious when he can’t reach his cage) and right at the very end, when he was 2 inches off the ground he wiggles out of my hands and his bum hit the ground.
but! He got up right away, ran and is eating and drinking.
Am I being worried for nothing ? He’s jumped before and was fine, but never hit his bum while wiggling.

Hopefully he should be ok as it wasn’t too big a height. But if you’re worried then just take him to the vet.

Oh dear, this can happen sometimes so don’t beat yourself up! You could in future try carrying him in something like a cuddle blanket or small box.
Keep an eye on him, if he is moving around as normal, eating and pooping well then I wouldn’t worry, 2” inches is not a lot but look to finding something safe to carrying him in in future x
