piggy numbers?

Hi all,

I have been doing some hard thinking over the last week or so about how many and which piggies i will get I'm so stuck!
OH says the limit for the new arrivals is 6 but i know i can stretch him a little further as my birthday and christmas are coming up{:|.
I have asked him for my birthday to build me the biggest mansion bank cages for indoors that incorporate the C&C cages.
Now i have worked out i can fit 2 x 3 (all 2 x 4)level banks in the room and 1 x 3 level(2 x 5) cages for my trios,here is my dilemma and situation
my pigs

Smokey and Bandit-Housed together
Cooper-Beau and Windsor-Duke-housed together
Zanzabar and Baker-Housed together

now so far thats one complete 3 story bank taken up

Rajah-soon to be paired with Ralph & Basil to make a trio
Prescott,panda and Prince-trio
new boys already reserved Brutus,Rusty,bartholemew-trio

so thats my complete trio bank taken up then left over i have

Blade who will be paired with reserved friend Rascal

so i have two 2 x 4's left
now the issue is I'm in love with aside from my already reserved boys

Midget who comes already paired with Louie but ive had my eye on Midget since before i adopted Zanzi and Baker,i think its also possible to split Midge and Louie and Bond midget in with two of my other boys to make another trio.

A trio of Oakley and two other piggies(oakley was originally my first pick to be paired with Brutus but we didnt think the dominant personalitys would work so we gave up on that idea although now oakley has fit into a trio nicely.
And two other piggies who i have wanted for a while who I'm not sure are fully up for adoption as of yet

I know this is all very confusing but i tried explaining it in the best way possible and I'm very stuck as they are all deserving but i do have limited space unless of course i convert another room for the piggies:(|)
 
Bonnie I am so confused! :{ (doesn't take much :(|))

I don't know but good luck with it all and it's going to be great to see what you do with all the cages. Looking forward to the pics.

well i tried lol,basically i have 2 x 2x4 cages left over and 7 piggies i want so I'm trying to choose the best arrangements for them lol
 
How exciting for you!

I'm sure you've already thought of it, but you will need to keep some 'spare' space for a) if any of your boars fall out! especially the newly bonded trios and b) if anyone gets sick. I did the same as you, got a huge hutch block and filled it up (before I started rescuing) and then got a bit stuck when the boars fell out!

It's very easy to want to take on more if you've got the time and space, good luck with whatever you decide!

More pigs Bonnie?!?! How many will that take you up to? Do I need to send more fleece over? :))

Good luck deciding, whoever you choose will be absolutely darling, I know.

hehe yup already sorted,i have a 2 x 3 in the cupboard ready to pull out if needed(with still enough room for a bank of 2 x 3 cages in the pig room but not quite enough for a 2 x 4 so ill have 3 cages ready fo fall outs :(|) and another in my dining area,i also have two smallish petstore nero3 type cages for quaranteen and medical and there in my bedroom

Oh god the fleece factor is crazy lol,i wouldnt expect you to do that after all your help already,i am off to spotlight for more fleece in the coming days;)

did i forget to tell you and everyone that when i got my trio and blade and Rajah from rescue i fell head over heels for a boy named brutus who reminds me alot of Boris? well originally i put him on hold and he was only meant to have one friend and then the rescuer managed to bond two in with him and then i needed a baby for Blade to so thats how four + happened lol,you will love Brutus he has such Boris qualitys but is his own pigself at the same time;)
 
Sadly unless my boys fall out and i have to get them a friend i think this is the last of the pigs as OH doesnt want me to take over another bedroom(that was my original plan) and i dont wnat to upset him to much as he is great about all my piggies;)
 
Ok OH just rang me from the road as he is driving buses for his dad tonight,and we have settled;)
He said absolutely no converting anymore rooms and I'm not allowed to have then eleven more pigs that i wanted so i decided not to get Oakley and his 2 friends as I'm not fully in love with them yet so i put a stop to it before i couldnt turn back.

So joining our herd will be

Brutus,rusty,Bart,Rascal,Midget,Louie and if they are up for adoption the two other boys

I'm absolutly over the moon,i think Tony is being very good to me;)
 
You have a fantastic OH! He deserves some kind of medal, I think! I would love to one day have more piggies and hopefully some boy groups. I meant to get boys first but that adoption fell through and I got my 1+2 trio instead.

I can understand you are excited!

thanks heaps,yes I'm starting to realise he really is fantastic,i cant wait for the new arrivalsx).boys are hard work but so much fun,ive only ever had contact with female piggies at the rescue i have never owned one myself xx
