My partner gave me a knitting pattern for Christmas (there were also other things!) It's a pattern for knitting guinea pigs!

I've got another project on the go right now but will have a go at a piggy or two once that's finished.
In other news, one of the girls (Penny) was making an odd noise a while back, so off we went to the vet. I wasn't sure if it was her breathing, or her teeth. Her breathing is fine, but two of her teeth are wearing unevenly. The vet also looked at the others' teeth, and Penny's sister also is wearing the same two teeth unevenly. The vet couldn't see Fifi's teeth as there was too much food in her mouth!
The vet suggested giving them some apple wood to chew on. Chewing the bark could wear the teeth down in a better way. I am to get them re-checked mid-January.
I have apple trees in my garden so I've been giving them a bit of that a couple of times a week and they love it. Within hours the bark has been stripped from the twigs, but the best bit about it is, the odd noise is still there now & again, but much less frequent, so I think the apple wood is working. Obviously this could be fixed by a procedure but they are nearly 5, so we want to avoid anaesthetics if possible. Also it will be very expensive and I'd rather spend the money on hay...
Here's a pic of the Fat Bottomed Girls enjoying some grass.
