So I was wondering how you can introduce vegetables to a guinea pig that has never had any. What vegetables are the best to introduce slowly and what are some that I should avoid until they get used to them?

Is your guinea pig alone?
They tend to learn from each other what is good.
You will often see a young piggy take food from the mouth of an older piggy as they see it’s safe.
Favourites tend to be cucumber, coriander, lettuce ( not iceberg), red pepper.

Have a browse through the feeding guides for other ideas.

Merab's Slave No at the moment I don't have any guinea pigs I was just wondering that. I don't know if you saw my last post I wrote about a guy bringing in 3 female guinea pigs at the petstore

Definitely check out the forum link above. Its the most up to date and informative information I have read after so much conflicting info on various websites. It’s good to give them a variety of safe foods. It’s done wonders for my veggie intake as I share with my boys 😁

Sorry missed that one, or rather I saw it but didn’t make connection.
Brain not functioning at present due to a heavy cold

I would just give a small piece of one or two things and leave them for him to try in his own time. Leave them as long as possible so he has multiple chances to come over to have a sniff and a taste. He'll get there in the end but it is better if you can get him a friend to help him figure it out

Taking it very slowly is always a good bet. Keep an eye of for changes in stool and urine; if either changes drastically (diarrhea, cloudy urine, etc) hold off on the veggies until it returns to normal.

Another note: Sometimes rescues feed/introduce veggies to their pigs, and adopting as always better than supporting a mill. Checking for any rescue piggies in your area is highly recommended :)
(Apologies if this was already discussed in your other topic!)

Don't worry and thank you all for the advice.
