Thought id do more than one today..
These 4 are suzies babies she had 12th May 2008, she had 3 girls and one boy.
4 days before the big day:
Lets start with Jerry (Jare):
A little cutie, she was my fave from birth and i had the name ready, we did orginally think she was a boy though.... lol.
She is lovely, a little too vocal at times but its cool hehe. Not too many storys with this one, shes a good girl who doesn't cause any trouble, loves her mummy too. : )
BigFace (Sace):
No idea why she is soo bloody hairy! Amazing what jeans get passed on. We noticed she was going to be different when she came out with extrordinarily hairy legs!
She is probs the cutest pig we have i persnally think, she can be abit of a snappy cow though lol. Alot of grooming involved with this one, she had a bath Saturday actually lol.
Oh and big face because her face was bgger that the others, they all the looked the same at birth lol.
Dillon (Dilz):
The only boy, dils is in with his father and uncle barney and pip, before pip he was with uncle frank.
Hes a big strong hunky pig : D
There is a small story with this one, Once night we went out for feeding time and we noticed that the girls and suzie wern't eating (still really young so they are still together at this time).
Dils was missing... We found him stuck in a toilet roll tube and we had to cut him out, all the girls new something was wrong and didn't eat to tell us, it was great. From then on all tubes are cut ; ).
Last but never least, Shakey (Shake):
She was called shakey because she was a little wobbly when she was born lol.
She also came out different, she was a satin. Her furr was lush and soo silky.
Sadly she didn;y quite make it to 2, before she had a lump on her back which we had removed straight away and everything was fine, hair grew back and all was well. A few month after she started to lose hair where it was removed from and lost abit of weight, we gave her extra food and she soon picked back up and the hair grew back again.
Another few months pass and mum goes to feed them and only suz, sace and jer come out. Mum reachs in the hut to find shakey stiff and cold....
We are still not completely sure what the hell happened... I have recently read about overy cysts and the syptoms are very simular to shaket.. the hair loss and she has dried nipple sometimes... : S. I also read that a lump sshouldn't be removed unless it is causing them pain or discomfort as it will most likely come back. I think the lump came back in a worse place. But I'm glad for the time we had with her becuase she was the sweetest pig ever : ).
