Pigs of the Day - Rambo, Jack, Roger and Stinky - Our rescue pigs....

Hey,

So though id post a little something on our 4 pigs we adoptid from the likes of P@H. They said they were dumped outside the shop a week before we brought them.

We adopted them pretty much because we felt sorry for them, i have never seen pigs in such a state, you would have thought the shop would have tried to help them wouldn't you...

First lot of pics are of when we got them...

Right, this is Rambo:

He a black bush to me lol, furr was mingin' when we got him, loads of dean hairs stuck in there, really dirty and matted and crawling with mites.

This Jack:

Cute little tri-colour, his fur was also really bad condition and crawling with mites. Grease glad was pretty bad too.

This is Roger:

They were all thin but roger was thinner than then all and really back fungus and mite bites which took a while to get rid off.

I have never in my whle life seen a pig so badly treated.. He had really bad mite bites, really thing, and had a... basically a open wound of his back which is a redulasly bad fungus infection, P@H were so kind they gave us some free foor fungus cream for it.... :)>>>:0grrrr

Picked up great and he still big black and busy lol, furr is lovely and cuddley now, they are still abit skitty though, don't blame them though poor things :(

Roger had too move out from living with Rambo and Jack due to fighting, Roger doesn't get on with pigs that well, he does sometimes on the grass when he is out but cannot share a cage unfortunatly...

Unfortunatly Stinky had to be put down as he started to fit and just wasn't getting any better, we don't usually agree with getting them put to sleep as we feel there is always a chance they will pick up but it was just to late and not fair to try... RIP little man, Roger misses you. Oh yeah, this is the only pig Roger got on with : ( Only friend he had died: ( .

aww they look gorgeous now. RIP Stinky. Thank goodness they now have you to look after them :)
 
Rambo is sooo handsome. All the piggies are looking happy and healthy. Had to laugh at the pic of the 'amorous' piggies. Naughty boys:))
