We recently rescued a one year old male guinea pig. Unfortunately, he has always lived in a hutch on his own
We thought it might not be so bad if he continued to live on his own but got out in the garden during the day with the other Guinea Pigs. For obvious reasons, we couldn't let him play with the girls so we tried introducing him to the boys ... big mistake!
Our "boss" boar attacked him, the others hid behind the boss and poor Pigsy was backed into a corner and then attacked :...
We took him out straight away but are now wondering what to do for the best. We don't want him to live on his own.
Would it be best to ...
Have him neautered and adopt a girl playmate for him or buy him a boy playmate and have one/both neautered?
