Pineapple

Can guinea pigs eat pineapple, my local fruit and veg shop give me loads of stuff 3 times a week and have just given me a huge pineapple.
All I know is that you can give it to dogs and this stops them eating their pooh!

I'm not sure, but will look it up..

my first thought be: give only little bits like all fruit, because of the acid.

Looked in other forums on the approved food lists, they all say pineapple is fine and wont do any harm.

Thanks! I know that you can give it to rabbits to get their gut moving, if they have trouble eating

Duke and Sully gave me the most filthy looks of disgust when i offered it to them ;D

BTW i like to serve pineapple with jelly crystals sprinkled over the top, looks pretty and tastes yummy.
