pink palace for the girls!

Today I have spent in the garden with my wonderful father, mending a cage which I was given. My Father has made a new ramp and repaired all the dodgy doors. The final thing to do was to paint it PINK! as you do for girlies. It is a double height hutch with a run and we are going to make a triangular box to place under the ramp so that it isn't too steep although one of the girls did venture up it as I placed some hay at the top and then when she came down she sat on the hay and slid down, only to proceed back up to try again! lol. So the girls have given it the once over and enjoyed the access to grass in the run, now need to put some hay racks up and make the platform then it will be ready for them to take residence. Pics will follow! p.s now my OH really thinks I have lost it with a pink hutch.

Our boars have all macho stuff, camoflage and bold animal print fleeces and laddish things but the two girlies have all pretty pink and lilac things - such a contrast.
One of my boys is poorly at the minute and I only have pink vet bed so he's on that which cramps his style. Have had to order some dark red for any future illnesses they may endure :... as the pink just looks really odd in there
Even my son's girlfriend asked why he had a pink bed :{ |)
