She sometimes picks up a load of hay in her mouth and just puts in the water bowl.

I was wondering if there was any weird behaviour reason behind this.

Or maybe she knows that I will come change her water when she does?

It's not really a problem I just wanting to check there was nothing more wrong.

P.s she doesn't like/use water bottles.

I'm intrigued by this. No idea why she would do it. One of mine has taken to bringing a pile of hay down the ramp to the downstairs bit though I'm not sure which one as I haven't caught them in the act yet. Odd little critters they can be

I've not heard of that before but Spike likes to put the cardboard inner from a loo roll into things. It gets dragged into the hidey, put in the nugget bowl and in the cardboard tube. The funny thing is one of the boars in my other cage has started doing this as well but I've not seen him do it so I don't know which one yet. If it's Bracken then I'm wondering if it's an aby thing. Is your piggie an aby by any chance?

Comet will drag hay anywhere he thinks it'll be beneficial. I've known him to "barricade" himself inside a carrot cottage by piling up hay in the doorway. I came home today and he's piled up a bunch of hay inside the pellet bowl. I wonder what goes on in his head sometimes?

Cocoa often places all his toys or chews inside eachother, smallest to largest. It's impressive, sometimes even his heavy ceramic bowl is in there. Strange little things :))
