Would anyone know, please, whether it is safe for them to eat this weed which is growing amongst the grass? I don't know even know what it is called so cannot look it up. Bianca was enjoying it but I have now removed the tray (it is turf cut from another garden) as I am unsure. Thank you.

Thank you for answering. Is it clover, though? I didn't think it was because it is very different from the clover growing on my lawn (which is much bigger).

I don’t think it’s clover, I think it’s Mind your own business or Angels Tears, you find it in damp places, we have it in our garden, it’s a pain As it’s so difficult to weed out and can regrow from a tiny leaf but I don’t think it will do your piggies any harm, mine two boars always tended not to eat it

Looked like it to me at first glance, and came up on Google lens

Thank you very much for this. It must be Mind Your Own Business (brilliant name!). It's so tiny that once it's in amongst the grass I don't see how you can possibly weed it out. I won't worry that I've poisoned Bianca, then. She liked it, but then she likes bright red plastic so I can't really trust her judgment! Your boars sound very sensible.

It's good of you to have looked it up for me. Thank you. It does indeed look like the third option that Google discounted. I expect my photo wasn't clear enough.

I absolutely loathe that weed! It’s the bane of my gardening life. It’s rampant down here in Cornwall, I’s never encountered it in Yorkshire, impossible to get every piece and we have it in our lawn too.
