Anyone know what this is ?
Thankyou

Only asked because pets@home will pay for vets, if you've had them under 10days. I would pop her to the vets.

Please have her seen by a vet, who can decide whether the hairloss is due to fungal, mites or malnutrition/deficiency and treat accordingly.

We have got a piggy savvy vet locator on the top bar, but I am not quite sure wether you are within reasonable reach of one. Please check nevertheless!

Thankyou for all your help I'm going to bath them both and put some stuff I got them she's old enough to use it on the only thing is my youngest girl can't have it as she only weighes 210grams x

If I don't see any improvement I will take her to see a vet ASAP

You really ought to see a vet rather than self treat, as you do not know what it is that is wrong with her :( I suggest you take all of your piggies along to be checked because if it is fungal or mites they might all need treating. That spot on is not effective & the wrong thing to use for fungal anyway. Please see your vet & if you have used anything you need to tell them that as well. Your little one is rather small, they are not supposed to leave their mothers before 300 g in weight :(

I agree that she needs to see a vet for a proper diagnosis. The Spot on you have is only recommended and as preventative not treatment if it is mites and likes others have said it could be fungal. If it is fungal your young piggies are ok to have Imaverol used as a dip or topical treatment. I have known it be used on week old pigs. However, please go to the vet first. Also if you are using Spot on then you should leave at least 24 hours before bathing and vice versa.

Just read my post back, that's what you get for posting on a phone with no signal. What I meant to say is that the Spot on you are proposing to use is only recommended as a preventative not to treat an existing condition.

I've noticed her bald patches seem to be clearing up I will post a pic tomorrow I've changed there bedding aswell as she was on this Cotten stuff? And like tissue paper. I switched them to blankets in there cage and they seem so much better. I will be going to a vet soon because I want to register with a vet and get them a health check I've also set up a vet fund so if anything where to happen I can take them ASAP. The nearest guinea pig vet from me is 1 hour and 23 minutes away on the vet locator so is a normal vets okay as there is one 15 min drive from me but We don't have a car as my boyfriends mum as just been diagnosed with a brain Tumour so we have had to get rid of the car but Me and the boyfriend are getting driving lessons soon would this vets be okay? http://abbeyvetcentre.co.uk/Abbey_Veterinary_Centre/Welcome.html

The local vet should be ok for basic things but you may need to go further afield for anything more complex should the need arise.
