Hunnichow

My baby guinea pig seems very limp and not moving too much unless shes with Peppa, my much bigger piggie.
I have left them in a run (in my room) with a box on its side filled with hay for a long time and there hasn't been any problems at all, infact right now there both in the box chilling out.
I am more worried that the little guinea pig is very much a baby, and i thought maybe peppa would keep her warm and show her how to eat etc.But should I put the in the same cage already? is it a good idea?

What do you think?

Sorry I don't have anything very useful to offer. Did I see in your other thread that the baby's just 5 weeks old? Could be she's just not moving about because she's scared/ not used to you.
What do you mean by limp? Have you seen her walking around at all?
Someone will be along soon who can be more help.

If you think it is not usual behaviour for a guinea then take the little fella straight to the vet. I don't want to scare you but I lost one last week that I think was only five weeks old and she wasn't behaving as you would expect a normal guinea to behave. I put it down to her settling in, we only had her for three days, she had lost 20gms in weight. Still don't know what it was she died from, vet said her heart and lungs were fine, she was weeing and pooing ok but had pain in her abdomen, she died in the night before I could get her to another vet that was more experienced.
