Can't remember if i did a separate post for Honey , I gave her a bath this evening as she is due for the vets so i thought I'd make her look her best.

She wasn't best impressed! but she looked shinier!

She's beautiful, what a lovely shiny coat, that was my first thought, is she a satin?
Hope all goes ok tomorrow at the vets.

I'm not too sure on her breed! self red i think! she is going for a nail trim and a health check up, as she may have a cyst but eating and running around as normal! want to make sure it doesn't get worse.

Glad she's ok in herself, always best to have a check up just in case.
A satin is as it sounds, a pig with a coat that has a satin sheen to it, they're shiny.

Awe thank you! I try to do my best with looking after my animals I'm just respecting them , as us humans want to be looked after :)

I'm sure she'll be fine and I also wanted to make sure on her sex too.!

Hi all, All went well at the vets! she has an abscess hoping the antibiotics work! she was a wriggler when i tried to give it to her! not very nice! now I'm going to leave her alone or the afternoon.

And she is a she! :)

x) She is gorgeous, hoep she gets better soon!

Aww she's beautiful! Glad the vet trip went well, if you need any advice about syringing the antibiotics please ask, it can be tricky!

She is an absolutely gorgeous girlie! :) I hope the antibiotics do the job quickly! :)

Yes Please! I'm putting her Syringe in a bit of her favorite apple so it won't taste disgusting! for her , would love advice! i got the first dose in eventually!

Aw glad she's ok and can keep her name!
Have you got anyone to hold her for you while you administer her medicine?
If you haven't I found sitting the piggy on a piece of vet bed or towel on the coffee table facing to the right if you're right handed then wrap your left arm round the bum to stop them reversing, gently hold the mouth with your left hand then with the syringe in your right hand, pop it in the side of their mouth. Takes a little practice but it's the best way I've found when you're trying to do it on your own.
Good luck!
