NO STONES!

But they did find two other things.
1. He has a little bit of arthritis in his back legs.
2. His diaphragm bones arent connected as there is a small break in them, which he said was either a deformity that he was born with OR he was stood on!
I told him that he was from a rescue and that the rescue said he came from appalling conditions and was neglected, so he seems to think that he was stood on and as it wasnt treated it just healed by itself and thats why he sometimes has breathing difficulties. So he strongly recommended that he NEVER has a full GA as he wouldnt be able to cope, only do a GA if its a life or death situation.:...
I said he was fine in himself and has always had occasions where he has the snuffles since ive had him, so he said aslong as he isnt put under any stress which he never is, then he will be fine.

Also all of the staff commented on how lovely they were and thought that it was VERY funny that they liked to sleep in their cosy's.

They said as soon as they put them in they were both in them snuggled up, I said well they are VERY spoilt. :p
The vet has given me metacam to try as he said it will help with the arthritis which could be the reason why he squeaks when weeing and of course it will help heal the bladder if its a infection.
Its the dog suspension so he said one drop twice a day for a week and then give it when needed.
But i am going back next Tuesday to let him know how he gets on and if he has stopped squeaking then I'm to use the metacam when he does. He said that he isnt going to give antibiotics as he wants to see if the metacam works first and then if he does still squeak after a week he will give more antibiotics, as he said as he isnt doing it all the time it could just be the arthritis or the bladder is a little inflamed.
The vet suggested that i put the drop onto a biscuit that he will eat i do give them woodland oat treat i think they are called he said this would be fine, but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what else i could put it on, as it needs to absorb into something.
