Poop Chain?

Hello. I noticed that recently my most lazy pig has been having the weirdest poops. Unfortunately I don't have a picture as they are only occasional.

The poops seem to be sometimes oddly long or they come out as a long chain of poop stuck to together. I plan to take her to the vet if it continues, but does anyone recommend I give her supplements or advice on how to alter her diet.

Has anyone ever experienced anything like this or is familiar with this case?

Hi! It sounds some milder digestive problems. Please take your piggy off any fresh food for a couple of days and see whether that does the trick with firming up the poos again. You may also want to consider giving your piggy probiotics. You can add it to the water and syringe to make sure that your piggy gets enough fluid.

If issues come back or continue, or to be on the safe side, you might want to consider a vet check to see whether an external pain issue is impacting on the guts and the problem is not necessarily located in the intestines.
If the problem is located in the guts and it persists, please take your piggy off all root veg, any grain (including sweet corn and grain-based pellets) and fresh fruit to remove the food groups that can cause problems.
