If your piggy is still eating and fine in themselves, then that means that the digestive system is working just fine. Believe me, if there is a blockage of some sort somewhere or the gut is stopping to work altogether, a piggy will look very ill and off and refuse to eat (as it can no longer process any food) very quickly. There is no mistaking it! ;)

Poos don't always come nicely on the dot as pigges are not constantly eating digesting; if you get hung up on counting poos. you will live in constant fear. Take your cue from your piggies' behaviour; if they are behaving normal and interested in a little treat, then there is nothing wrong! And stop controlling their poo! :tu:

I weigh Christian every day cos he is on long term Metacam for arthritis in his back and I want to make sure I have his medication correct. I am worried he won't eat if he is in pain. He has dropped his weight by around 40-50g compared to what it was before his back problem but maintains his weight between around 960g - 980g. He poops OK generally every morning when he is being weighed! I only worry when his weight drops to under 950g. He is a happy boy, rumbles alot and loves life. As long as a piggy is eating it is a well piggy. As @Wiebke says a piggie will always eat unless they are very unwell and that is unmistakeable.
