Connie and Eliza were out on their towel earlier today. Lizzy started to chew at the towel. As I moved her away, I got a fright as I noticed that the strand that had been in her mouth was a dark browny colour. I was worried that she'd pulled a tooth out or something. As I took a closer look at her, panic over as it turned out she'd just been eating her poop :o Surely there's a time and a place for this type of behaviour :D

assuming they were eating their cacotrophs, its normal and healthy. Something to go with processing their food a second time to fully absorb the nutrients.

ROFL! Pigs! summer sometimes poops then turns around to eat hers as she can't be bothered to bend down and get it ::)

Yeah, its normal so nothing to worry about. They need it to keep their gut full of `lovely` bacteria.

Without it they would die.

Anders :)
