So, after Pablo’s (eventually) successful operation, we got Beatrice and Aurora. Beatrice is very independant and brave. Aurora is timid and shy and prefers to have someone to follow. After a few days, I was easily able to work out their personalities and was not concerned in the slightest that theirs would clash with Pablo’s.

A few weeks after the 7 weeks, we introduced them and after much rumble strutting, they got on swimmingly.

Subsequently, after a week or so we moved them in to their new maHUSSIVE, double their six foot hutch with 2 bedrooms.

The problem became apparent when I realized Beatrice was sleeping outside the bedroom that Pablo and Aurora were sleeping in. As it is really hot here I thought, maybe the heat, combined with all that fur doesn’t make a pleasing combination for her and she’s just trying to cool off.

But then I noticed her attempting to stick her head in and Pablo coming along all mighty and basically ‘rumbling’ her away.

Aurora follows Pablo and obeys his every command, so she’s fine and he sleeps with her no problem.

I’m worried for Beatrice because it must not be nice being and outcast and unable to snuggle up with her friends. There is another bedroom on the bottom floor, but she must want some company and is willing to sleep outside for it.

That really is a shame, I’m sorry I can’t offer any help/experience. I don’t know what’s best to suggest. I hope someone replies with help and you can fix the issue x

Try to provide more sleeping places than you have piggies. Some piggies don’t like to sleep next to a certain pig.

One of my females and my neutered boar would never sleep next to each other even tough they know each other since more than two years. They simply don’t like each other but they accept that they live together.
