Last Thursday Dennis had a puncture wound on his tummy about 1cm up from his willy. I couldn't make a vets appt as I was going away the next day for the weekend . I cleaned it with sterile saline and it wasn't nasty and didn't smell. I checked it as soon as I got back on Sunday and it still looked nice and clean. Tonight (Monday), however, it looked a bit suspect so I squeezed it very gently between 2 cotton buds and some white pus came out. It doesn't smell or anything. I wiped the pus away with sterile saline and squeezed again. I did this about 3 times until all the pus had come out and Dennis let out a little 'OUCH' squeak. I don't think it's an abscess cos it doesn't smell horrible and the pus is thin. When he had an abscess before the pus was thick and yellow and stank:vom::vom:. Should I make a vets appointment tomorrow even though I managed to get the pus out? I think its the wound that has become infected.:help:

Please have it vet checked. It can be a cyst that has burst, but only a vet can decide that, as well as whether it needs an antibiotic or further treatment.
