Arnold does this after I bath him. Well I notice it, at least. I always used to think I'd gotten shampoo in his eye and I'd be going crazy.
But it turns out that it's the fluid they use to clean themselves.
I don't want to say for sure, just incase I am wrong, but it might be that.
Just wait a bit, have a look again and see if it's still there or if it's gone.
They do discharge a milky liquid from their eyes. It's natural.
But keep an eye out, just incase. Someone more experienced might know for sure or be able to ask the right questions.

The only white/milky coloured discharge from the eye is the natural fluid they secrete to clean themselves with.
