Hi on Saturday I rushed my piggy to the vets with a uti. He's looking alot better now.....even started chattering at me again lol but his poos aren't like they should be, they are very soft. Could this be because of the medication he is on? He is on antibiotics and pain killers once a day for the next week. Any advice would be fantastic. Thank you in advance

The soft poos are very likely down to the antibiotic (especially if it is baytril). That should rectify itself ones he comes off.

Could you please let us know what medication and dosage he is on? It is now a common approach to treat UTI with both an antibiotic and an anti-inflammatory/painkiller as infection and inflammation of the bladder walls can cause the same symptoms. The painkiller also takes away the considerable discomfort.

Please continue to weigh daily at the same time instead of the recommended weekly weigh-in and health check to keep an eye on his food intake. Hay is making the biggest part (uo to 80%) of the daily diet, but it is pretty impossible to control.
