Popcorn Champs - Girls or Boys?

I’ve had girls for the past 10 years and two months ago got a boy (aged 1yr 6months). I’ve never seen a piggy popcorn as much he is always popcorning around. Sometimes just sitting there then suddenly jumping up and almost looking shocked. This led me to wonder do boars popcorn more?
What’s your experience? Does gender make any difference?

Popcorning is purely an expression of happiness. Some are more expressive than others with younger piggies tending to do it more but it isn’t anything to do with their sex.

I've only got boys so no idea but it means they're happy and that photo is so cute

Yeah I know it’s happiness but honestly my girls have never popcorned quite as much even when they were young so just was interested if anyone else had found a difference. Or it could well be that he is smitten with Hetty of course

I tend to have boar / sow pairs.
My current pair don’t popcorn much but Moses is more active than Miriam
