Popcorn/fit?

Hey guys !
Had our pigs around 2 months now and they are about 5 mo the old :)
But we just noticed one of them , only just started to do it tonight like he would popcorn but looks like he was stretching at the same time ? If you know what I mean ? He didn’t lay on his side or anything , but he done it twice on a bed he has , which we just put in the cage.
We’ve looked on the internet but could find anything to relate !
Like he was itching popcorning and stretching all at the same time !
We’ve checked mite symptoms and can’t find anything there !
Any help would be amazing !

I would imagine a very happy popcorn, youngsters do crazy ones. Are they acting okay now?
 
Yes :) he’s eating and running round fine, it’s only when he’s on the bed :) think we’ve seen it and as he’s never done it before we were obviously worried

Some popcorns are insane to see
 
Young piggies do the most amazing popcorns, hurling themselves onto their sides etc when they are happy. I would think he’s very happy with his bed.
 
Just a quick update
We’ve been looking all night
And we have a bed in the cage now what they don’t normally have there , (but we have bigger cage now ) and seen both of them sort of
“Popcorn , stretch , and like fidget on his back all over the bed ?
Would this be putting there scent on it ? Or should we be worried ? Seems to be the only thing they do it on ?

I wouldn’t worry. Just sounds like (very energetic) popcorning 😁 scent marking they drag their behinds.
 
My young one is so funny to watch popcorning. She really does look like she having a fit especially when she is on her bed.
 
My Rainbow Piggie Gizmo jumped about a foot in the air and clapped his front and back feet together whenever he popcorned. His mate Lenny tried to copy but failed miserably!
 
Might just be youthful exuberance... when Leela was a baby she used to popcorn while laying down... like a full-body no-reason twitch.
 
Sounds like they really love the bed. My boys popcorn in their bed too.
